So while he is not answering anything about the show now, it's not to late to post questions from the past. So here you can find something interesting you found in the old Q&As located here. Some of the ones I found and post some you might find interesting (although try not to repeat any!). Q: Did Hoagie EVER get over his crush on Cree?!**
A: i highly doubt it. Q: In Operation F.U.T.U.R.E when Numbuh One turns into a girl he looks a lot like Lucy from the “Peanuts” comic strip. Was this deliberate?A: yup. Q: The operation names and their acronyms always seem to suit the episode perfectly. So when you create a new KND episode, what usually comes first – the scenario, or the name of it?
A: the story comes first and then the name and then the acronym. although, sometimes we change the name to get a better acronym! Q: I’ve heard some characters are named after/based on real people. Which ones (any examples)?
A: there are a number of background characters based on people from the studio. pauly marcus (operation: elections) is based on production manager marcus pauls. Who’s your favorite super villain in the KND universe?
A: wow! i can't name just one! father rocks, stickybeard is fun, count spankulot is hysterical, the toiletnator is pathetic...there are just too many! Q: How did you come up with the concept of Kids Next Door? Was it based upon any real life experiences?
A: i just always liked the idea of five different kids joining together to fight adult tyranny! when i was a kid, i ALWAYS suspected adults were up to something and in the world of the KND...they ARE! not all adults, mind you. just a bunch of crazy adult sooper villains who wanna cause trouble for kids. as far as crash landing in a sea of asparagus or being kidnapped by the cheese shogun...that stuff has never really happened to me. well, maybe once or twice but that's it. Q: Who's the guy in the lizard suit? I see this villain show up in the crowds all the time, yet he never has any lines. What's his name? What are his powers/weapons? What's his issue with the KND? Will he ever get an episode of his own? And most importantly, why the lizard suit?
A: that's 'the iguana' and is based on KND inker supreme robert 'the iguana' smith. we're not sure what his beef is with the KND but it probably has something to do with sitting on a warm rock in the sun. Q: I noticed another villain with a giant lightbulb on his head. Can you give me any info on him?A: that's 'the big idea' aka KND character designer kevin kobasic. way back when we did operation: MOVIE we needed lots of villains to fill in the seats of the movie theater. so kevin designed a bunch of villains based on people in the studio. Q: You said you based a villain on yourself named Nogoodnik. Can you point him out in a specific episode, like his exact location in a crowd? Is he one of the aforementioned mysterious costumed villains?
A: he's the guy with two big approval stamps for hands. (every week we have a design meeting and i stamp the approved drawings). the idea is that nogoodnik DISAPPROVES of everything. he's in the front row of villains at the convention center in operation ZERO. Q: Have you seen some of the Fan Art us KND fans sent to the BLOG? Do you like them?
A: wait'll you see them! there are SO many sooper triple talented people out there drawing the KND! YAY! |

I know it. www.fanfiction.net/s/1456014/1/Operation-SHAREThat's a story from 2003 that involves the Teens Next Door/ TND. As this came way before the TND were even mentioned (don't know when MAURICE was but still) if Mr W claimed he read fanfics he could get sued by that author. But by legal obligation he says "never read fanfics nor have I ever read them" which would build a reasonably strong case if he were ever sued. |

Q: how old was wally, kuki, nigel and possibly abby? when they first came to america?and why?
A: they're all 10 except for numbuh 5 who's 11 at this point. nigel's dad moved to america to play 16th tuba in the local orchestra. that's about all i know.
Q: in a way do you think that numbuh 5 enjoys hoagie's jokes?
A: i think she likes them but just doesn't wanna admit it.
Q: Is it true that Kuki's eyes are purple? That's been said a lot.
A: you know what else has been said a lot? 'i'm going to buy mr. warburton a sandwich!'. but are there any sandwiches in my office? nope.
Q: Will there be an episode where Number 1 goes evil?
A: he went pretty evil in LIZZIE... but who knows if he'll go off like that again!
Q: Exactly how old are the delightful children? Because the Lenny and The blonde delightful girl are both taller then almost all the KND
A: they're around the same as the KND (10). and i'm taller than a couple here in the studio, but we're the same age!
Where DOES Numbuh 1 keep all those 2x4 weapons? He has NO LUMPS in his clothes, and all of a sudden WHAM!Here's a SPLANKER! How does he DO that?
A: sorry, but that's proprietary 2x4 technology that we can't reveal to the public.
Q: Does anyone in Sector V have any pets? Cause.. pets rule...
A: some say numbuh two has a dog. numbuh three had mr. fishy.
Q: How old is the minimum age to join the KND? How can you be qualified to become an undercover agent even when you're already 13?
A: there's no minimum age ! if you can fight adult tyranny and are under 13... you can join! but to join the ranks of the teens in the kids next door you have to be the bestest of the best of the best best bestest who are BETTER than the best. and then pass the written exam, which i hear is really hard.
(Numbuh 4 just might not get in, written exam, yikes)
How do you get admitted to the KND? Like, for example, where they
sent a special "for-kids-only" message?
A: if you're the right kind of kid- i'm sure they'll find you. and there's no one way they'll contact you. but i hear that putting secret messages carved into the meat of your sandwiches at lunch is a frequent tactic. that way you can eat the evidence.
Q: I just watched op. FOUNTAIN (yes, i know... episodes in the Philippines are WAY er... unrenewed ^^). And "Lunk" is another Delightful Child (i assume). So you mean, there are other Delightful Children besides the ones From Down the Lane?
A: i think lunk was only temporarily delighfulized in that episode. as far as others, there's the interesting twins from beneath the mountain, the rowdy hooligans from across the square, the annoyingly cute triplets from atop the hill, and the IFFATL (can't tell you that one yet)
So is the delightfulization chamber something the UNOs get blue prints from each other or something? The annoyingly cute triplets?

A: wow! i can't pick just ONE! there are so many cool characters it's
impossible to pick. numbuh 86 rocks, and 362 kicks butt (wait'll you
see operation: IT tomorrow!), numbuh 74.239 is funny and you'll love
numbuh 2x4! and don't get me started on the villains! or the KND's
families!
Q: Will it ever be possible for the DC to turn back into Sector Z
permanently?
A: doesn't sound like it, but the KND have some pretty brilliant
scientists so maybe one day!
There have been rumours that there will be a KND live action movie. Is that true?
A: We've working on the story for a while. No guarantees whether it will ever happen, but we're trying hard!
How did Chad buff up so fast after leaving the KND?
A: probably all those push ups his coach made him do after operation:

Can you give me a quote from Father of when he first interacts with
Nigel after the Zero insadent?
A: i doubt they even want to talk about that.
Will Grandfather ever return, even as a background character when he's not all evil-ized?
A: i'd assume that if there's some oatmeal around, or a bingo game he'd show up.
Q: Who is Leopold's father? Did you and the artists have someone in
mind when he was designed?
A: there are some hints...
Q: And this is just for laughs: When the voice actors are reading their lines, have there ever been hilariously funny moments when they make a mistake (blooper!), or have you had any really funny incident happen while recording?
A: EVERY record session has it's share of hysterical stuff inbetween or during takes. a recent example: while recording some sad scenes, dee bradley baker would break the tension by shouting out "HI GUYS!' in the toiletnator's voice after every line. NOTHING ruins the mood more than the toiletnator.
What is Abby most afraid of?
A: numbuh four being made president.
Will the former Numbuh 19th Century be appearing in future eps?
A: he's probably too busy being amazed by running water. *lol*
What's Father's opinion on Sousaphones?
A: i highly doubt he likes them.

A: his birthday. JEWELS probably happened before FAST-FOOD

A: sometimes they're off on missions, or eating somewhere else. usually
numbuh four has a hard time even finding the cafeteria.

Now that Nigel, and by extension, the entire KND, know the true identities of Father and the DCFDTL, how will their attitude toward them change?
A: i would think so... but since it was such a traumatic event no one
usually talks about it.
Q.Why does Numbuh 86 have a steryotypical Irish accent yet she dosent come from there and only her mother sounds like that?
A: her mother is irish and they moved to the states when 86 was young.
Q: Also, when (if?) Nigel's decommissioned, will he still remember he loves Lizzie?
A: probably. only memories of the KND are affected.
Q: One more question about decomissioning: Most of the members of KND get decomissioned when they turn 13. But there are some people who aren´t KND operatives (Such as Lizzie and Tommy), and they have been on some missions (op. LEADER and op. GRADUATES), which means that they know many things about KND.Will they be decomissioned too even if they´re not KND operatives?
A: Well, lizzie was never an official operative, she just bossed her way in for the day. As for tommy, they tried a couple times to decommission him but he cried so loud and shouted and kicked and screamed that they eventually gave up. No one figured anyone would believe tommy if he gave away any big secrets anyway. I hope they're right.
In what ocean is that undersea treehouse (not the Arctic base), and
what is the sector's name?
A: um... the ocean that has all those fish in it, i think. and it's not
a sector... it's a communal base.
Why does Kuki "flare up" when angry, and what the BLEEP happened to her in Operation H.O.T.S.T.U.F.F.?
A: all the sanbans seem to have an evil side to them, eh?
What is you favorite cartoon besides KND?
A: well, i can't pick just one! i love spongebob, billy and mandy,
fosters, teen titans, avatar, etc etc etc.
How is it that Cree is still living at home and nobody's come to decommission her after all these years? They know where she lives for crying out loud!
A: some KND have TRIED and ended up with wedgies worse than jerry's in operation: BULLIES.
When and how did the KND originate?
A: no one really knows for sure. some say it's been around as long as
there have been kids.
How old was Nigel turning in Operation JEWLES?
A: 11 probably...

Q: If you could place Sector V into a fantasy universe, what classes would the gang fall under? (Who'd be the warrior, rogue, mage, etc.)
A: NOW we're getting geeky! (yay!) so i'll sent the question over to KND assistant director and role playing expert numbuh D-20. below are his on-the-spot decisions along with his sooper powered reasons why!
numbuh one - paladin (c'mon, he's TOTALLY lawful)
numbuh two - rogue/wizard (always casting 'craft wondrous item!')
numbuh three - druid/sorceress (or maybe bard... she's a performer at heart)
numbuh four - barbarian (do i need to explain?)
numbuh five - ranger (a cunning warrior always trekking through the wilderness)
first, who taught numbuh three how to fight? was it her Dad, or her mom ?
A: i would assume she learned most of her moves at KND basic training and then later moved on to some advanced techniques (like 'hyper monkey noogie style' or 'pants 'em and run fu'.
By any chance, is Tommy named after you?
A: not really...unless yo want him to be!
Do the KND of Sector V sleep in the treehouse
during non-school nights and in their own house during
school nights?
A: sounds about right, but i'm sure they find ways to make it to the treehouse on school nights! i just hope they don't get caught!
Well, everybody knows why you and the writers picked the last names for Numbuh's 1-5, but why did you pick their first names?
A: hmmmm. well, nigel sounded like a nice english name. hoagie is just a really fun name AND a great sandwich (i'm from philadelphia where they call them hoagies), for numbuh three i wanted a name that went with how light and free she was, hence kuuki, the japanese word for 'air', wallabee is about as australian as it gets, and to be honest i have no idea why i picked abigail for numbuh five. i think i just liked the sound of 'abby lincoln'.

A: once again...how can i name just one? i loved last weekend's where mac accidentally made a new imaginary friend. and the one with eduardo hiding the puppies was really cute. and the bowling one was great, too!
Is there a backstory as to why Numbuh 4 is the "greatest enemy" of the Toilenator?
A: yup.
How did father get his powers, will there be an episode were we find out, because they didn't show how he did in operation: A.R.C.H.I.V.E.
A: I think he gets his powers from just being really, really angry. He needs a vacation or something to make him chill out.
Did Maurice adjust the decommissioning chamber that
he could make the KND operatives 13 or older?
Everybody explains it and I don't get it.
A: nope. there's a black ops division of the KND who arrange that kind of thing. some people say some of them even outrank numbuh 362! oooooooooooooh!
Q: Now, Cree and Chad were supposably some of the best operatives of their time, correct? Chad obivously didn't do the 13+ thing since he went insane first, but does that mean Cree was a traitor before her 13th birthday like ex-operative Numbuh 12 or was she not going to be a operative past 13 anyway?
A: i have a feeling that cree was veering towards the dark side way before her 13th birthday. and i'm sure the KND who choose agents to remain after turning 13 are very, very careful about who they choose.
Q: Do leaders automaticly go to the 13 and over secret KND operative thingy?
A: nope. only the best of the bestest of the most trustworthy of the bestly best bestester are chosen. and then they have a lottery from amongst them and then they draw straws. i think.
Q: Who was the leader before Numbuh 362?
A: numbuh 274, and before him numbuh 100, anbd who knows who before him.
Q: How old was Numbuh 362, Numbuh 86, and Numbuh 5 in that MAURICE? I'm guessing Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 5 were both either 7 or 8 (Seeing how 3 years before 10 is 7, but according to later in the episode, they said Numbuh 5's 11th birthday was in a week).
A: i guess they were 7 or 8. that seems to work with the '3 years ago' thing and numbuh five turning 11.
Who's the leader of the adults? Mr. Boss, Father, or..... somebody else?
A: i don't think they have one leader, although i'm sure it would be father if they did organize.
Final question: Are all Sectors based on where they live? (Ex: Sector "C"=China)
A: nor really. it's kinda random!
What sector is Numbuh 86 from or was she always stationed on the Moonbase.
A: rumour has it that the decommissioning squad has a MOBILE treehouse that's always on the move so it's location can never be pinpointed!
Mo Willems said that the order of the KND from oldest to youngest is 5, 4, 2, 1, 3. Is that correct?
A: hmmmm. mo might be right and he might be wrong! sounds like a good guess though.

Love these. Thanks for posting them! I didn't know that "kuuki" was the Japanese word for air. Too cool! Maybe that's another reason why Kuki turned into a crane in Operation: G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S.

So I had three questions that I thought to bring up:
Is the answers considered canon?
The delightfulization chamber in the nineteenth century is possible?
How did the knd know about sector z, father, grandfather, numbuh 0s origins if they were all zombies and working? Especially right after the fight?

Ok but if JEWELS took place before FASTFOOD then would other episodes be out of order timeline wise?? That's what got me confused as well. Especially since he answered Nigel was turning 10 in one q&a and 11 in another. Since kuki is the youngest I just assumed he was turning 11 in the episode. |

I think she had her 12 birthday off screen though before interviews. The show does span a year and a half and we only see three birthdays of sector v and all five delightful children and two of them twice.
So it might be Abby>Nigel >Wally/Hoagie>Wally/Hoagie> Kuki.
EDIT:
It might be hard to think about it this way but this is the months that the respective episodes aired the January and December births might match up to be the same kid. Although the months don't look right in the episode.
